These terms govern your use of Parkinson's Pathways (parkinsonspathways.com). By using the site you agree to them.

What This Site Is

Parkinson's Pathways is an information and navigation service. It pulls clinical-trial data from ClinicalTrials.gov and presents it in plain language for patients, caregivers, and families. It is free to use. There are no paywalls, subscriptions, or paid tiers for patients.

Who Can Use This Site

You must be 18 or older to create an account or submit health information through the trial matcher. Caregivers and family members may use the service on behalf of a person with Parkinson's, but the person completing the form must themselves be 18 or older.

Not Medical Advice

Nothing on this site is medical advice. Trial summaries, plain-language eligibility notes, match results, and any other content are informational only. They are not a substitute for the advice of a licensed physician, neurologist, or other qualified healthcare professional. Eligibility for a clinical trial can only be determined by the trial's research team. Always discuss clinical trial participation with your neurologist or other treating physician before making any healthcare decision.

Acceptable Use

You may use Parkinson's Pathways for personal, non-commercial research and navigation. You may not scrape the site at a volume that strains performance; contact patients for commercial recruitment without their explicit consent; impersonate another person or provide false information; attempt to circumvent security controls; or use match results to advertise on behalf of a trial sponsor without a separately negotiated written agreement.

Referral-Fee Disclosure

When you explicitly ask Parkinson's Pathways to introduce you to a trial site team, that site may pay us a fee for the introduction. This fee is never conditioned on your enrolling in the trial. It does not change which trials we show you, the order in which they appear, or how they are ranked. Introductions only happen when you request them; no introduction is ever made automatically or without your explicit consent.

Donations and Reader Support

Parkinson's Pathways is operated by Parkinsons Pathways LLC, a for-profit limited liability company. It is not a nonprofit or charitable organization. Contributions are not tax-deductible and are not charitable donations.

Limitation of Liability

Parkinson's Pathways is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Parkinsons Pathways LLC and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site or any information it contains, including any healthcare decision made in reliance on trial information shown here.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Parkinsons Pathways LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
