## Summary For Families

The goal is to find blood-based signals that change with Parkinson's stage, so a simple serum test might someday help diagnose or track disease progression. Participants give one or more blood samples so researchers can measure proteins, inflammatory markers, and other molecules in the serum that may reflect brain changes, the testing does not alter your Parkinson's treatment. Adults 18 to 80 with idiopathic Parkinson's disease by MDS criteria can join if they can consent, while pregnant people and those with inflammatory or autoimmune diseases are excluded.

- **Maximum age:** 80 Years
- **Sex:** ALL

Inclusion Criteria:

* Patients diagnosed with idiopathic PD according to Movement Disorders Society (MDS) criteria;
* Age: 18-80 years;
* Signature of informed consent to participate in this study

Exclusion criteria.

* Women pregnant
* Inflammatory or autoimmune diseases
