Plain-Language Summary

The goal is to help people with Parkinson's or multiple sclerosis keep up regular exercise and track their confidence doing it over time, so patterns and progress can be seen and supported. The approach uses Remote Therapeutic Monitoring via the Datos Health smartphone app to collect movement data and self-reported self-efficacy, logging exercise habits and confidence levels so researchers can follow changes longitudinally. They are looking for adults 18 to 89 who are primarily ambulatory without assistive devices except a single-point cane or walking stick, have Parkinson's disease (Hoehn and Yahr 1-3), parkinsonism, or MS, own a smartphone, and do not have cognitive or communication problems that would prevent using the app.
