## Summary For Families

Researchers want to know whether training nursing home professionals can improve the daily quality of life for people living with Parkinson's disease. They will compare staff training levels and content with residents' outcomes by using questionnaires and interviews that track symptoms, daily functioning, mood, and medication management. The training is meant to help staff better recognize motor and nonmotor symptoms, time and manage levodopa and other medications safely, support mobility and daily tasks, and communicate care needs to families, which could reduce complications and boost comfort. The study plans to enroll about 90 adults aged 18 and up with a confirmed Parkinson's diagnosis who live in EHPADs in departments 38, 73, 74, 26, or 07 in the AURA region and who can cooperate with the questionnaires; residents who object or who are under certain legal protections are excluded.
