## Summary For Families

The goal is to help people with Parkinson's increase and maintain safe, regular physical activity to improve mobility, balance, mood, and overall quality of life. Over eight weeks participants use Engage-Qatar PD, a personalized remote self-management program with one face-to-face coaching session and seven online sessions that teach goal setting, tailored exercise plans, activity tracking, strategies to overcome barriers, and safety advice, with coaches adapting plans to symptoms and medication schedules; it is a non-drug approach meant to complement existing treatments. The study is looking for adults 18 and older with a neurologist-confirmed Parkinson's who can walk indoors and outdoors without hands-on assistance, can follow study commands, and who pass the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire or have medical clearance, while excluding those with other neurological conditions, musculoskeletal injuries that prevent exercise, or acute illness.

- **Minimum age:** 18 Years
- **Sex:** ALL

### Full Criteria

Inclusion Criteria:

1. Age above 18 years.
2. Successful completion of Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q), or medical clearance from a neurologist.
3. Ambulatory for indoor and outdoor mobility with or without an assistive device but without physical assistance.
4. A neurologist-confirmed diagnosis of PD.
5. Ability to follow study-related commands.

Exclusion Criteria:

1. Musculoskeletal injury or a medical condition that would prevent safe participation in an exercise program including failure to pass the PAR-Q test.
2. The presence of any other neurological conditions.
3. Acute illness or injury that prevents participation in the intervention.
