## Summary For Families

Researchers are mapping how Parkinson's affects breathing and exercise capacity, aiming to clarify problems with respiratory function and inspiratory muscle strength that can make daily activity harder and guide rehab and safety. Participants will have noninvasive tests of lung function, measurements of how much pressure the inspiratory muscles can generate, and fitness or aerobic capacity tests that show how well the heart and lungs support activity, no drug or device is given. Adults 50 to 80 with a neurologist-confirmed Parkinson's diagnosis and a Mini Mental State Examination score of 24 to 30 can join, while people who cannot communicate verbally, who use a walking aid, who have severe vision problems or other neurological disease, who have congestive heart failure, or who are not cleared to exercise are excluded.

Inclusion Criteria:

* Age 50 to 80
* Mini Mental State Examination score of 24 to 30
* Diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease by a neurologist

Exclusion Criteria:

* Sözlü iletişim kuramama

* Ciddi görme bozukluğu, ek nörolojik bozuklukları ve/veya konjestif kalp yetmezliği olan yaşlılar
* Egzersiz yapılması tavsiye edilmeyen yaşlı yetişkinler.
