Bemdaneprocel Clinical Trials for Parkinson's
Bemdaneprocel is an investigational cell therapy for Parkinson's. It uses dopamine-producing nerve cells grown from stem cells, which are surgically placed into the brain with the goal of replacing the neurons lost to the disease.
This is a fundamentally different approach from a pill. Rather than compensating for missing dopamine, it aims to restore the cells that make it. Early-phase trials have focused on safety and on whether the transplanted cells survive and function.
Below are the recruiting trials we track that involve bemdaneprocel. Sign up to be emailed when a new trial opens.
