Remote and At-Home Parkinson's Clinical Trials

Not everyone lives near a major research center, and travelling to frequent study visits can be hard with Parkinson's. A growing number of trials are designed to be done partly or entirely from home, sometimes called "remote", "decentralized", or "telehealth" studies.

These trials may use video visits, mailed study materials, wearable sensors, or at-home nurse visits instead of requiring you to come to a clinic every time. That can make taking part possible for people who could not otherwise join a study.

Below are the recruiting trials we track that can be done remotely or from home. Sign up to be emailed when a new one opens.
