Clinical Trials for Mid-Stage Parkinson's
If you have been living with Parkinson's for a few years, you are in the stage many trials are built for. Researchers often study people in the middle stages because symptoms are established enough to measure, yet there is still a lot a treatment might change.
The studies on this page state, in their own entry criteria, a disease-severity range that includes the middle stages, most often described using the Hoehn and Yahr scale around stages 2 to 3. Your neurologist can tell you where you fall on that scale, and the study team always makes the final call on eligibility.
Below are the recruiting trials we track whose stated severity range covers the middle stages. Sign up to be emailed when a new one opens.
