Clinical Trials for Parkinson's Sleep Problems

Sleep problems are one of the most common and least talked-about parts of Parkinson's. Insomnia, REM sleep behavior disorder, restless legs, and excessive daytime sleepiness all show up frequently, and they meaningfully affect quality of life.

Trials in this area study new medications for daytime sleepiness, treatments for REM sleep behavior disorder, and observational studies that track sleep changes over time. REM sleep behavior disorder is also one of the most studied early warning signs for Parkinson's, so some prevention-focused trials specifically recruit people with this condition.

Below are the recruiting trials we track that focus on sleep. Sign up to be emailed when a new one opens.
