Connector privacy

ChatGPT sends the selected tool name and arguments: a short public study-topic search and result limit, or a public NCT study identifier. Do not provide names, emails, medical records, personal health histories, credentials, or chat transcripts. The connector does not need those details and has no patient-account connection.
Arguments are used to retrieve public information from our database and return it to the requesting client. This profile does not save arguments, create patient profiles, set analytics cookies, record tool-usage counters, or add marketing tags to result links. Application processing of arguments ends with the request; a transient IP-based rate-limit counter expires after a one-minute window.
Our hosting and network providers process requests to deliver and secure the service and may maintain operational logs under their own policies. OpenAI processes your conversation and tool results under its policies and your account settings. This notice does not promise zero infrastructure logging or control OpenAI's retention.
You can stop using or disconnect the connector in ChatGPT. Opening a cited website is a separate browsing action governed by that website's privacy policy; Pathways provides its website analytics opt-out on the Privacy page. We do not join connector queries to website visitors, subscribers, or health profiles.
